FEES and Stroboscopy

Our practice is now equipped with a Karl Storz strob-enabled Tele Pack, allowing us to offer FEES, stroboscopy, and biofeedback services. We provide expert assessment and management for patients with voice and swallowing disorders, collaborating closely with ENT specialists to support optimal patient outcomes.

FEES

Our clinic offers Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) as a convenient, evidence-based service for assessing swallowing function. FEES allows our licensed speech-language pathologists to directly visualize the throat during eating and drinking, providing real-time insight into safety, efficiency, and physiology of the swallow.

Stroboscopy

Our clinic provides video stroboscopy to evaluate vocal fold structure and function. This advanced, non-invasive assessment uses a specialized camera and light source to capture detailed, slow-motion views of vocal fold vibration during speech and voice tasks. Stroboscopy can help to identify the underlying causes of voice changes and guide targeted, personalized voice therapy.

Biofeedback

Our clinic offers biofeedback therapy for Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD) to help patients gain control over their symptoms. Using real-time endoscopic visualization, patients can see how their vocal folds move during breathing tasks and learn strategies to reduce inappropriate closure. This interactive, evidence-based approach increases body awareness, supports faster skill acquisition, and empowers patients to manage symptoms with confidence.
